BlackBerry Priv is first Android-Power smartphone Officially confirmed coming of before Christmas this year

Form the last couple of month have rumored that BlackBerry is going to be launch on its first Android based OS smartphone called the BlackBerry Venice, but now company confirmed that they are working on its first Android Platform based smartphone that will be called as the BlackBerry Priv and is expected to surface in the world market before Christmas this year 2016.

BlackBerry’s Chaiman and CEO Mr. John Chen said at the time of its latest annual earning reports, says that ” To day I am confirming our plan to launch Priv an Android device named after BlackBerry’s heritage and core mission of protecting our customers’ privacy, Priv combines the best of BlackBery security and productivity with the expensive mobile application ecosystem available on the Android Platform” and also confirmed that the company’s first Android smartphone, which will be released with the suite BB Apps available on BlackBerry OS Platform.

As per recent reports the upcoming BlackBerry Priv will be features with either 5.4-inch or 5.6-inch QHD display. It will be powered by a hexa-core qualcomm snpadragon 808 processor supported by 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage further expandable via micro SD card. It will also sports with 18MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera.

The BlackBerry priv also support company’s own and signature QWARTY keyboard, the smartphone will be equipped with the company’s own BlackBerry application available on Blackberry OS Platform.
