Samsung Electronics launched a new tough smartphone in Japan, Galaxy Active Neo at a price of JPY 20,000/$168 (Roughly Rs.10,800). In Japan the smartphone available through local network carrier NTT DoCoMo in early November. There is no words from company on its world wide release including in India, but we expected to launch in India at festive season this year.
The Samsung Galaxy Active Neo features a 4.5-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixel and it coated with corning gorilla glass 4 protection, the device will powered by 64-bit, 1.2GHz qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 Graphics Processor Unit (GPU) coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, further expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card.
Samsung Galaxy Active Neo sports with 8 mega pixel main camera with LED flash and 2 mega pixel front facing camera. The device backed by 2,200mAh battery. For connectivity it has 2G/3G/4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and Micro USB.
The Samsung Galaxy Active Neo has 100GB free OneDrive storage space for 2 years free who buy the phone company offered. It has also dust and water-resistance (IP67-Certified) and can be droped on to concrete from 1.5 meters without being damaged.
